Anyone can change the world.
Anyone can change the world.
At the Folia Foundation, we celebrate and value diversity. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds, interests, experiences, and skill sets, each providing their own unique ideas and perspectives.
With our mentorship and workshop programs, we believe that anyone can contribute to an environmental cause.
Our success relies on the relationships between students, researchers, and government officials. Each stakeholder plays an important role in getting research into policy and practice:
Students: Hone their research and writing skills by crafting expository articles that explain key findings and potential applications of new research, technology, or solutions. With each student assigned an adviser, we foster a mentorship program tailored to each student's needs.
Editors: Provide feedback and revision on written student works. Editors consist of graduate students and researchers in the target field of interest. After students work with our team to ensure scientific accuracy and relevance, we provide an avenue for the publication of meaningful work.
Government: With a large database of research organized by target community, cost, and key issue, we streamline the process for activists to lobby for change, whether that be within their school or their local/national government. Students interested in taking solutions from our database to policy in their communities will receive direct guidance from our team.
